A little bit about my work…
I’m inspired by the world around me and the relationships we form. Using oil paint alongside mixed media elements, I create textured, layered works that explore the intersection of film and real life.
My art delves into themes of love, relationships, identity, and vulnerability, drawing inspiration from classic romantic comedies like My Best Friend’s Wedding, Notting Hill, When Harry Met Sally, and Pretty Woman. These films act as both muse and metaphor, offering a nostalgic lens through which I examine the intricacies of human connection.
Much like rewatching a favorite movie for the comfort of its predictability—my work invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences with love and loss. It’s in that familiarity, that we often find new meaning.
